Shocker! Fuji Musician Obesere arrested after lady claims he raped brutally & inserted a ring inside her V*gina
According to Vanguard ….Popular Fuji musician, Alhaji Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has been arrested by the Police in Lagos State for allegedly raping a 29-year-old business woman, Miss Olanike Olaiya in his Okota residence, Lagos.
The victim, who took the matter to the Police, also narrated her ordeal in the hands of the musician whose shows generally fascinate society women.
According to Olaiya, a National Diploma graduate of business administration from Ibadan Polytechnic….
“I got to know Obesere through one of my friends, Mrs Bola Okoro. She told me that Obesere would assist me in my business.
“I deal in office equipment and when I contacted Obesere, he asked me to meet him in his family house at Okota. When I met him, I introduced my business to him and he promised to connect me to some of his friends in Dubai who would sell goods to me on credit.
“After the discussion, he started demanding for sex and I refused and when I wanted to leave, he insisted I should sleep over in his house because it was late and he claimed that it was dangerous to go out late in the night in his area.
“I thought he was a responsible man and I decided to sleep over, but at the dead of the night, he came into the room where I slept and pounced on me.
“He raped me and afterwards inserted a ring he wore into my private part and I started bleeding. He hurriedly left me in the room saying he had an appointment to fulfil.
“I could not bear the trauma and the bleeding and I reported the matter to the police.”
Vanguard gathered that Obesere was first arrested last Wednesday by the Police at Isolo Police Division, where Olaiya reported the matter. He was subsequently released on administrative bail.
He was later re-arrested on Monday, when medical examination conducted on Olaiya revealed that she was actually raped and the Divisional Police Officer, Isolo, Adamu Ibrahim, was said to have ordered the transfer of the matter to State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.
Sources disclosed that Obesere’s arrest was made possible through a warrant of arrest issued by the Chief Magistrate of Isolo Magistrate Court, Mrs Kike Bukola Ayeye, as he had declined to honour several police invitations sent to his house at Johnson Famiye Street, Canal Estate, Ago, Okota.

“I respect a lot of directors of some movies I have seen recently. Also Nollywood actors and actresses who have gone into producing their own movies have done well for themselves. But I feel like our stories are too predictable, no disrespect. There’s no suspense.
I feel like you can just watch a Nollywood movie that you have never seen or heard of and tell the way it’s going to end before it does. But trust me; if any director partners with me to do a movie, it will be awesome.”

Bomb Found Inside First Bank In Osogbo Osun State Nigeria
What could have become the biggest tragedy of the year in a busy banking hall in Osogbo today has been averted.
A security personnel attached to a First Bank branch in the capital city of Osun state discovered a wrapped bomb in the banking hall on Tuesday afternoon.
First Bank officials and customers were ordered to evacuate the bank as Anti-Bomb Squad defused the explosive device.
The discovery led to pandemonium in the area as many shop owners closed down while some left their shops and ran for safety.
5 minutes after the bomb was defused, the bank was later reopened. Staff were told to go home due to operations interruption.
Effort to speak with bank officials yielded no result and members of Anti-Bomb Squad and regular policemen deployed in the bank also refused to speak to journalists.

Oscar Pistorius gets ill in court on the second day of his trials
Oscar Pistorius breaks down in court in day two of his trial
Advocate Barry Roux made the claims in response to a neighbour's testimony that she heard a woman's screams after shots were fired on the night the model was killed.
He told the court: 'We will have experts state that there was serious brain damage after the shot to the head, that it would not have been possible for her to scream at all. With the head shot, she would have dropped down immediately.' Continue...
The Paralympian was seen bent double in the dock, with his hands behind his head, as the court heard details of the bullets hitting Miss Steenkamp and the removal of fragments from her head during the post mortem.
A relative handed him a handkerchief which he used to wipe tears from his eyes.
Prosecution lawyer Gerrie Nel interjected to say it was the last of four shots that struck Steenkamp's head, the first two hitting her right side, the wall and her shoulder.
Mr Roux's comments came during fierce cross-examination of one of the state's key witnesses, Michell Burger, a university lecturer who lives near the athlete's Pretoria home.
Ms Burger replied: 'As I said yesterday, I heard her voice just after the last shot. It could have been that it was at the last shot was fired.'
Her account was backed up by her husband, Charl Johnson, who said he also heard a woman's screams before and after gunshots.
He said: 'We were under the impression someone had been attacked in their house in a very secure complex.
'I remember during the succession of shots I heard a lady scream again and shortly after the last shot.'
The sprinter's defence had earlier come under further attack by another neighbour, Estelle van der Merwe, who lives less than 100 metres away, told the court she heard arguing coming from Pistorius's home that night.
'I woke up the morning at 1.56am to sounds of someone talking loudly and fighting,' she told the court. 'It lasted about an hour.'
In an emotive second day of the murder trial, Ms Burger wept in the witness stand as she told how she was still haunted by the screams she heard that night.
'When I'm in the shower, I relive her shouts. The terrifying screams,' she told the North Gauteng High Court.
Ms Burger, who faced a second day of questioning, has testified to a sequence of events on the night of February 14 last year which contradicts the athlete's story.
She told yesterday that she heard 'blood-curdling' screams from a woman before, during and after shots rang out in the early hours of Valentine's Day last year.
The sequence of events, if accurate, would undermine the Paralympic gold medallist's claim that he shot Steenkamp after mistaking her for an intruder.

Anglican Church members now take anti-homosexuality oath
Members of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) are now to carry out an oath exercise denouncing any trace or affiliation for homosexuality before they can take up any leadership position in the church. The church which has over the years held strong opposition against homosexuality included this oath taking into its constitution recently.
Yesterday, the first oath-taking against homosexuality was conducted at the St. Matthews, Maitama, Abuja branch when new members of the Parish Church Council were sworn in by the Vicar of the Parish, Ven. Ben Idume. Continue..."I declare before God and his Church that I have never been a homosexual/bisexual or (have repented from being homosexual/bisexual) and I vow that I will not indulge in the practice of homosexuality/bisexuality. “If after this oath I am involved, found to be, or profess to be a homosexual/bisexual against the teachings of the Holy Scriptures as contained in the Bible, I bring upon myself the full wrath of God and subject myself willingly to canonical discipline as enshrined in the constitution of the Church of Nigeria, so help me God".While administering the oath, Vicar Idume stressed that henceforth no one who has any trace of homosexuality or bisexuality will be allowed to take up any leadership role in the church
[VIDEOS] Fresh clashes erupt in Venezuela
At the end of the march, activists clashed with police in the opposition strongholds of Chacao and Altamira.
President Nicolas Maduro extended the traditional carnival holidays until the end of this week and asked Venezuelans to rest and celebrate peace.
At least 17 people have been killed in more than three weeks of unrest.
Opposition leaders have asked people to ignore the carnival season, when many Venezuelans traditionally go to the seaside.
They are demanding the release of dozens of demonstrators and activists arrested since last month, including high-profile politician Leopoldo Lopez.
The opposition blames the left-wing policies of Maduro and his predecessor, Hugo Chavez, for high inflation, rampant crime and the shortage of many staples.
Maduro says the opposition has encouraged violent protests as part of a right-wing coup plot.
He called on Venezuelans to embrace the traditional carnival season, which has been extended to seven days.
“Happiness will conquer the embittered. The Venezuelan people have won because happiness and peace have conquered,” he said on national television.
But the opposition says it does want to lose momentum.
“Nobody is tired here and we will fight until the government falls”, protester Carlos Eduardo Vega told the AP news agency.
On Sunday, the government released 41 people arrested during clashes between demonstrators and police in opposition strongholds in eastern Caracas.
Last week, US Secretary of State John Kerry said he was working with Colombia and other countries to form a mediation strategy for Venezuela’s political crisis.
Kerry said it would be “very difficult” for the two sides to come to an agreement without assistance.
Political divisions have deepened in Venezuela after the election of Maduro last April. He succeeded Chavez, who died of cancer after 14 years in office.
Henrique Capriles, who lost the vote by a narrow margin, accused the government of electoral fraud
